Strawberry Dainty - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry gelatin
2 cups hot water
1 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup pecans
2 cups strawberries
16 graham cracker squares
Preparation

Dissolve the gelatin in the 2 cups of hot water.
Mix in the sugar.
Allow to cool until it is syrupy.
While waiting for syrup to cool, whip the cream.
Fold the whipped cream, nuts and strawberries into the gelatin.
Crumble the graham crackers and place most crumbs in the bottom of a 9 x 13 dish.
Reserve some crumbs to sprinkle on top of the dainty.
Pour the strawberry mixture into the dish and top with graham cracker crumbs.
Chill and serve.
