Coffee Walnut Chocolate Chip Muffins - cooking recipe

1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
3 tablespoons instant coffee
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 1/2 cups walnuts, coarsely chopped
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0F Line twelve muffin cups with paper muffin cup liners.
Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, coffee and vanilla in large bowl until creamy. Stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Beat together eggs and milk; add alternately with flour mixture to butter mixture, stirring just to combine. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips. Fill muffin cups 1/2 full with batter.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pans to wire rack. Cool completely.
