Savory Cheddar Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon onion salt
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or 1 tablespoon margarine, melted
Preparation

Mix together first seven ingredients; set aside.
Mix together egg, milk, and butter; add to dry ingredients.
Stir until just moistened.
Pour batter into a greased 8x4 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
