Lurline'S Pear Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lbs soft pears
    1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
    5 lbs sugar
    1/4 cup fruit fresh
    1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Peel pears and run through a food chopper using the medium blade.
    Add to sugar and salt.
    Add crushed pineapple and juice and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.
    Add the fruit fresh and cook on medium.
    Boil for 20 minutes.
    Makes 8 pints.
