Low Fat Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup granulated sugar
    3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1/4 cup applesauce
    1/4 cup vegetable oil (I use Canola)
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 egg
    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 (12 ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips (2 cups)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0F.
    Mix together the brown sugar, white sugar,butter, oil, applesauce, vanilla, and egg in a large bowl.
    Stir in flour, baking soda and salt.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Drop dough by the spoonful onto cookie sheets.
    Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown (additional time may be needed).
    Cool slightly then remove cookies to cool on a wire rack.
