Crock Pot Cheeseburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 dash pepper
    1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    1 egg
    tomato juice (to moisten)
    4 1/2 cups mashed potatoes (leftover mashed potatoes work well)
    9 slices American cheese
Preparation
    Combine beef, onions, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, egg, and tomato juice. Place 1/3 of mixture in slow cooker.
    Spread with one 1/3 of mashed potatoes and 3 slices cheese.
    Repeat 2 times.
    Cover. Cook on low 3 hours.
