Rhubarb Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    2/3 cup liquid shortening
    1 cup sour milk
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 1/2 cups fresh rhubarb, diced
    1/2 cup nuts
Preparation
    Mix above ingredients and put in 2 greased and floured loaf pans.
    Sprinkle topping (see below) over top and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
    TOPPING:
    1/2 Cup sugar.
    1 tablespoons butter.
