Giant Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup shortening
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 egg yolks (or 1 whole egg)
    3 tablespoons milk
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    2 2/3 cups sifted flour
    2 teaspoons cream of tartar
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Prehat oven to 350 degrees.
    Cream shortening and sugars.
    Add egg yolks, milk and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Sift dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture.
    Chill dough at least 1 hour.
    On a well floured board, roll dough to 1/8 inch thickness and cut with cookie cutters.
    Sprinkle with sugar and bake for 6-8 minutes on a ungreased cookie sheet.
