Easy, Creamy Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (10 1/2 ounce) cans chicken broth (fat-free preferred)
    1/2 cup whipping cream
    1 cup uncooked quick-cooking grits
    2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a large saucepan, combine the chicken broth and whipping cream.
    Bring to a boil.
    Add the grits, and return to boiling.
    Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 5-7 minutes.
    Add the cheese, stirring until melted.
    Allow to sit for about 10 minutes.
    Serve.
