Brown Sugar Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup shortening (we use margarine)
    2 cups light brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    2 tablespoons water
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    3 1/2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs, water and vanilla.
    Sift dry ingredients and mix well.
    We take little balls of dough and mash down with fork; or you can roll it out and cut with cookie cutter.
    Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    A vanilla or caramel icing is good; or sprinkle brown sugar or coconut on top before baking.
