Hot Dog Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 -3 lbs ground beef (browned and drained)
    1 (2 ounce) envelope onion soup mix (such as Lipton Onion soup mix)
    1 -3 tablespoon brown sugar (to taste)
    1 (36 ounce) bottle ketchup (the whole bottle or to taste)
    2 teaspoons mustard (or to taste)
    1 onion, minced (large to medium)
    1/4 - 1/2 cup water (depending on how thick you like your chili)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with minced onion; drain.
    In a medium sized cooker add ketchup, onion soup mix, brown sugar, mustard and water.
    Add ground beef and onion to mixture.
    Simmer on low heat for 2 to 3 hours.
    Serve on hot dogs or with corn chips, cheese and sour cream.
