Sesame Seed Powder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups sesame seeds
3 teaspoons salt
Preparation

Place sesame seeds in a strainer and run water over the seeds, wetting them throughly.
Place in a cast iron pan over low heat. Stir the seeds constanly to ensure even browning and plumping, about 4-5 minutes. Do not burn the seeds.
Remove from stove and sprinkle with salt. Pound, mash or blend the seeds until they turn into a fine powder.
Store in a glass jar.
