Romaine Mandarin Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Salad
    1 bunch romaine lettuce, ripped into bite size pieces
    1 cup celery, chopped
    2 green onions with tops, chopped
    1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
    Caramelized Almonds
    1/4 cup almonds
    2 tablespoons sugar
    Dressing
    1/4 cup salad oil
    2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1/2 - 1 teaspoon salt
    3 dashes Tabasco sauce
    fresh ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
    To Caramelize Almonds: Put almonds in a small skillet or saucepan. Sprinkle with sugar. Heat, stirring constantly, until light brown. Put almonds on waxed paper to cool.
    For Dressing: Whisk all ingredients together until well mixed.
    For Salad: Mix all salad ingredients, caramelized almonds and dressing.
