Feather Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 teaspoon salt
    4 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    1 egg, well beaten
    3 tablespoons butter, melted
    2/3 cup milk, as needed
Preparation
    Sift the dry ingredients together.
    Add the egg, melted butter and enough milk to make a moist, stiff batter.
    Drop by heaping teaspoons into boiling liquid.
    Cover and cook for 18 minutes.
