Mushroom Barley Soup-Slow Cooker - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 cups chicken broth, can use Vegetable or 9 cups beef broth
    1 lb white button mushrooms, sliced
    1 medium yellow onion, diced
    2 carrots, diced
    2 celery ribs, diced
    1/2 cup barley
    1 (7/8 ounce) package dried mushroom, Trader Joes has a . 88 ounce package
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 teaspoon salt (optional)
    1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
    1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients in crock pot.
    Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
