Oatmeal Macaroons - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup coconut
1 cup nuts
4 cups oatmeal
Preparation

Cream together the sugars and shortening.
Add eggs.
Sift and add the flour, soda and salt.
Stir in coconut, nuts and oatmeal.
Bake at 350 degrees. The length of time depends on how large the cookie is. Check them after 8 minutes or so.
