Parsley And Chive Herbed Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons freshly chopped parsley
    1 tablespoon freshly chopped chives
    8 ounces butter, slightly softened
    1 lemon, juice of
    salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation
    Beat the herbs into the butter; add the lemon juice and seasoning and mix until smooth.
    Chill well before serving.
    Store in the refrigerator until ready to use or freeze in ice-cube trays for handy ready to use portions.
