Hot Buttered Rum - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Batter
    2 cups brown sugar
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 pinch salt
    Drink
    1 gallon light rum
    cinnamon stick
    hot water
Preparation
    Beat the sugar and butter together until fluffy.
    Beat in the spices.
    Put a heaping teaspoon of the batter in the bottom of a mug with 1 1/2 oz of rum and top with hot water, stirring well.
