White Jello - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups milk
    1 cup sugar
    2 (1/4 ounce) packages gelatin powder (Knox)
    1/2 cup cold water
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    1 pint sour cream (2 cups)
Preparation
    Boil milk and add sugar to dissolve completely.
    Dissolve the gelatin in the cold water.
    Add together the milk mixture and the gelatin mixture.
    Stir in the vanilla.
    Beat in the sour cream.
    Pour into serving bowl and refrigerate till firm.
