Crock Pot Hoisin Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lbs chicken pieces
    1/4 - 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
    1/4 cup plum sauce or 1/4 cup plum chutney
    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1 piece fresh gingerroot, thinly sliced
    1 lime, juice of
    3 tablespoons cornstarch
    salt and pepper (optional)
    1 -2 tablespoon minced fresh garlic, good to add (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a bowl (except the chicken pieces).
    Add the chicken to the mixture; coat well.
    Put all ingredients in the slow cooker.
    Cook for 5-6 hours, or until chicken is tender.
    Serve with rice.
