Basil-Caper Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 tablespoons basil, fresh, chopped
2 teaspoons capers, drained, chopped
1 teaspoon lemon juice, fresh
salt & freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
Preparation

Mix it all and let it sit a bit to mellow.
If you're making it ahead, roll it up in plastic wrap so you end up with a nice log of compound butter.
This freezes beautifully.
