Pork Normandy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    6 1/2 inches thick pork chops
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 medium apple, chopped
    1/2 cup dry white wine
    1/2 cup sliced celery
    1/4 teaspoon thyme
Preparation
    In skillet in hot oil, cook pork chops about 10 minutes or until browned; pour off fat.
    Stir in soup, wine, apple, celery and thyme.
    Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Serve over noodles.
