Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup dates, chopped
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups Rice Krispies
1 1/2 cups coconut
Preparation

In a meduim saucepan, mix together butter, sugar, eggs, salt, dates and walnuts. Cook over low heat for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla.
Cool for about 5 minutes and then fold in 2 cups rice krispies.
Form into balls and roll in coconut.
