Spice Nut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups butter
    1 cup white sugar
    1 cup brown sugar
    3 eggs
    4 1/2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoons baking soda
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1 - 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
    1 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream together the butter, sugars and eggs.
    Sift together the dry ingredients, gradually add to the butter mixture and mix well.
    Stir in the nuts.
    Roll into a log, wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
    The next day, preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Slice cookies very thin (about 1/4 inch thick) and bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
