Vegetarian Cabbage Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cabbage, coarse chopped
    4 carrots, sliced
    1 large potato, cubed
    1 onion, chopped
    5 garlic cloves, minced
    1 1/4 cups vegetable broth
    1/2 teaspoon thyme
    1/2 teaspoon sage
    1/2 teaspoon white pepper or 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
    salt, to taste
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in a dutch oven.
    Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
    Vary the recipe by adding zucchini, mushrooms, or corn.
