Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup flour
    2 cups milk
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    5 medium red potatoes, thinly sliced (unpeeled)
    2 medium onions, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Melt butter over low heat in medium saucepan.
    Blend in flour, then add milk, all at once.
    Cook, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
    Add shredded cheese, season and continue to cook until cheese melts.
    Remove from heat.
    Layer cheese sauce and potatoes/onions beginning and ending with cheese sauce.
    Bake at 350\u00b0F for about 1 hour.
