Chess Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup granulated sugar
    salt, dash
    1 tablespoon cornmeal, fine
    3 eggs, beaten lightly
    1 tablespoon vinegar
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1/2 cup melted butter, cooled
    melted butter, if desired
Preparation
    Stir together the sugar, salt and meal. Add eggs, stir, add vinegar, and vanilla.
    Stir in melted butter, do not beat.
    Put into the partially baked and cooled crust.
    Set into a moderate oven for about half an hour. Brush liberally with melted butter if desired. Pie will not be fully set when it's done.
