Yogurt Marinated Shrimp (Kuwait, Gulf States) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs shrimp, shelled
    1 cup low-fat yogurt
    1/2 teaspoon cumin or 1/2 teaspoon allspice
    1/4 teaspoon red pepper
    1 pinch black pepper
    2 garlic cloves, crushed with
    salt
Preparation
    Combine the marinade ingredients. Add the shrimp and turn to coat each piece with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or longer.
    Thread onto skewers and grill or oven broil, basting with the marinade.
