Corn Bread - cooking recipe

1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup skim milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 egg whites or 1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0F.
Grease well 8 or 9\" pan pan.
Combine the flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder, and salt and mix well.
Stir in the milk, vegetable oil, and egg. Mix just until the dough is moistened.
Pour the batter into the pan.
Bake 20-25 minutes, or until golden-brown.
