Mom'S Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cups water
    2 cups tomato juice
    1/3 cup of coasely chopped onion
    5 beef bouillon cubes
    2 bay leaves
    1 cup of diced celery
    1 cup of sliced carrot
    1 cup of diced potato
    2 cups of chopped cabbage
    1 cup green beans
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Add water, tomato juice, onion, and seasonings to large pot.
    Cover pot with lid and simmer for 1.5 hours.
    Add other vegetables and simmer for another hour.
    Remove bay leaves before serving.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
