Too Easy Granola Bars (Muesli Bars) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups rolled oats
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup wheat germ
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
    1 cup flour
    1/2 cup honey
    1 egg, lightly beaten
    1/2 cup vegetable oil
    2 teaspoons vanilla
    1 cup dried fruit
    such as
    sultanas, apricots, dates (your choice, chop first and optional) or fig (your choice, chop first and optional)
Preparation
    In a large bowl mix the rolled oats, brown sugar, wheat germ, cinnamon, and flour; stir.
    In large measuring jug add the honey, egg, vegetable oil, and vanilla; mix.
    Make a well and add the wet to the dry and mix like mad.
    Generously grease an 18x28cm (9x13 inch) tray.
    Pour in mixture; press with your fingertips.
    Bake at 175 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 35 minutes (or until the sides are golden).
    Cool for 5 minutes.
    Slice into even fingers while warm (it will be too hard once cold).
    Cool in the baking tin.
    Keep in a well sealed jar for up to 5 days.
