Buttermilk Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 cups sugar
1 cup shortening or 1 cup lard
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
3 1/2 - 4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Mix in order given.
Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 until done.
Frost with powder sugar frosting. Or just dust them in powder sugar. * prefer that myself*.
