Grandmother'S Stuffing Base - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 loaves bread, cubed
2 carrots, chopped finely
1 small onion, chopped finely
3 celery ribs, chopped finely
1 large bell pepper, chopped finely
3 sage leaves, chopped finely
1/2 cup butter
1 -2 cup chicken stock
salt & pepper
Preparation

Saute carrots, onions, celery and peppers in stick of butter until semi-soft and onions are translucent. Add sage and cook for a few more minutes.
Place cubed bread in large mixing bowl. Add butter mixture and chicken broth until desired moistness. This is the time to add optional ingedients as well.
Place in casserole dish and cook at 350 until heated through.
