Soft Cocoa Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
    1 cup brown sugar, packed
    1/2 cup cocoa
    1 large egg
    2/3 cup milk
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 1/2 cups flour
    3 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and brown sugar;add egg.
    Sift dry ingredients and add to butter/sugar mixture alternately with milk.
    Add vanilla.
    Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake 8-12 minutes at 400\u00b0F; do not overbake.
    Ice with chocolate icing, if desired.
