Hot Buttered Whiskey (Or Rum) Batter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb light brown sugar
    1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened completely
    1/2 lb butter
Preparation
    Melt butter and sugar until you have a syrup-like consistency.
    Stir in softened ice cream.
    Stir until creamy and smooth.
    Freeze.
    To serve, put 1 oz. of whiskey in cup, add 2 heaping tablespoons of batter, top off with boiling water, and stir to combine.
