Green Mango Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups white vinegar
    1 1/2 cups water
    3 cups sugar
    5 sticks cinnamon
    1 tablespoon whole cloves
    1/4 teaspoon mace
    1 teaspoon ginger, chopped
    1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
    6 cups green mangoes, 34 large slices uniformly about 1/4 inch thick
Preparation
    Combine all except mango and boil 5 minutes.
    Add mango and cook for 30-45 minutes or until tender and clear.
    Pack mangoes into hot, sterilized jars, add syrup and seal.
    Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
