Canton Style Spareribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lbs pork spareribs
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    2 tablespoons dry sherry
    2 tablespoons crushed pineapple
    2 tablespoons sugar
    2 tablespoons honey
    2 garlic cloves, crushed
    1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
    Place ribs in a large shallow pan. Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over.
    Cover with plastic wrap and let stand at room temperature for 1-2 hours.
    Prepare a medium-hot grill.
    Grill until crusty outside, and tender and juicy inside, up to 1 hour.
