Sweet & Spicy Sambal Meatloaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Meatloaf
    1 1/2 lbs ground beef
    1 cup breadcrumbs
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 cup hoisin sauce
    2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
    1 tablespoon sambal oelek
    1/2 small onion, finely diced
    2 scallions, finely chopped
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 teaspoon ground ginger
    Sauce
    1/4 cup hoisin sauce
    1 tablespoon sambal oelek chili paste
    2 tablespoons brown sugar
    Garnish
    2 scallions, thinly sliced
    2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    Combine all the meatloaf ingredients together in a large bowl.
    Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking sheet and shape into an 8x4 inch loaf. Bake for 50 minutes.
    Whisk the sauce ingredients together and brush all over the meatloaf. Bake for another 15-20 minutes.
    Transfer the meatloaf to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced scallions.
