Plum Duff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cups self-raising flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup white sugar
    2 tablespoons golden syrup
    2 teaspoons mixed spice
    1 1/2 cups mixed fruit
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1 cup chopped vegetable suet (eg Kremelta)
    milk, to mix
Preparation
    Take a strong cloth and dip in boiling water, then dust cloth thickly with self raising flour and put mixture in cloth and tie securely.
    Boil for 3 hours.
