Cranberry Sauce With Orange Liqueur - cooking recipe
Ingredients

12 ounces fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 teaspoons orange zest
2 tablespoons Cointreau liqueur
Preparation

Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil; add cranberries, return to a boil.
Reduce heat and boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat. Add orange zest and Cointreau (or Grand Marnier) and stir.
Let cool at room temperature.
Refrigerate until cold, or serve at room temperature.
