Blonde Chocolate Chip Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine, melted
    1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup flour
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine butter and brown sugar. Add egg and vanilla.
    Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Add to butter-sugar mixture, combining well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
    Spread into a greased and floured 8\" square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
