New Orleans Nectar Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 cups sugar
    1 1/2 cups water
    1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
    2 tablespoons almond extract
    1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
Preparation
    Bring sugar and water to a boil over medium heat.
    Let boil about 10 seconds and remove from the heat, let it cool.
    Add vanilla, almond extract, and coloring, stir well.
    Keep in the refrigerator.
