French-Fried Okra - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb okra
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/4 cup milk, plus
    2 tablespoons milk
    cornmeal
    vegetable oil (for frying)
    salt
Preparation
    Wash okra well & drain.
    Cut off tips & stem ends & cut into 1/2-inch slices.
    Combine eggs & milk & mix well.
    Dip okra into egg-milk mixture, then dredge in corn meal & fry in hot oil (about 375F) until golden & crisp.
    Drain on paper towels & sprinkle with salr.
