Slow-Cooker Beef Mushroom Barley Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs beef chuck, cubed
    4 teaspoons beef base
    1 (12 ounce) bag frozen chopped onions
    1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
    8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
    3/4 cup pearl barley
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    5 cups water
Preparation
    In slow cooker, combine all ingredients.
    Cover and cook on low setting for 5-6 hours.
