Blt Restaurant Copycat Cheddar And Chive Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    3 tablespoons shortening
    3 tablespoons butter
    1 tablespoon chives, chopped
    1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
    1 1/4 cups cream
Preparation
    Mix flour, baking powder, salt and cayenne together.
    Cut shortening and butter into the flour but don't overwork - small butter pieces are fine.
    Toss in chives and cheddar.
    Toss in cream until it starts to come together but don't mix too much.
    Bake at 375\u00b0F for 15 - 17 minutes and serve with sea salted butter and maple syrup.
