Albers Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cups cornmeal
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons baking powder
2 teaspoons salt
2/3 cup oil
3 eggs
2 cups milk
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Combine oil, eggs and milk together and mix well.
Stir dry ingredients into liquid ingredients just until blended; do not over-mix.
Pour into a well-buttered 9x13 inch pan or an equivalent-size cast-iron skillet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes or til done.
