My Best Wine Marinade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup red wine
    3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 garlic clove, minced
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
Preparation
    Place all ingredients into a small saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Cool completely and marinate at least 8 hours or overnight.
    ***Season meat with salt before cooking.
