Old Fashioned Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb smoked sausage, cut into bite-sized pieces
    1 tablespoon margarine
    3 cups potatoes, diced
    1/2 onion, chopped
    2 cups water
    2 tablespoons parsley
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 - 1 cup milk
    1/2 cup flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    In large Dutch oven melt margarine.
    Brown the sausage and drain off all but 1 tablespoon of dripping.
    Add all other ingredients except egg yolk, flour and milk.
    Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are tender.
    Mix yolk and flour until pea-size and crumbly.
    Add to soup, stirring constantly.
    Cook for one to two minutes.
    Add milk and heat.
    Serve immediately.
