Blackberry Avocado Salad With Balsamic Vinaigrette - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    For salad
    1 tablespoon butter
    1 cup pecan halves
    6 cups torn mixed greens
    2 cups fresh blackberries
    1 ripe avocado, peeled, pitted and cubed
    3 tablespoons crumbled goat cheese
    For dressing
    3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 small garlic clove, minced
    1/2 teaspoon dijon-style mustard
    1/4 teaspoon sea salt (or to taste)
    1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper (or to taste)
Preparation
    Melt butter in a small skillet over medium heat. Saute pecans until lightly browned. Set aside until cool.
    To make dressing, whisk all dressing ingredients together and set aside.
    Place all salad ingredients in a large bowl and gently toss to combine. Pour dressing over salad and gently toss to coat.
