Sausage Gravy And Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Gravy
    1/3 cup butter or 1/3 cup margarine
    1/3 cup flour
    3 cups milk
    1/2 lb ground sausage, precooked
    salt and pepper, to taste
    Biscuits
    2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup shortening
    3/4 cup buttermilk
Preparation
    Gravy:.
    Melt butter. Add flour. Mix well until no lumps are left.
    Gradually add milk to make a thick gravy. Add sausage, salt and pepper to taste.
    Biscuits:.
    Combine all dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add milk.
    Roll out and cut into desired size.
    Bake at 450 degrees for about 12 minutes.
    To serve- split biscuits and top with sausage gravy.
